Maximum Viewer Registry entry

Specify the maximum viewing size of multimedia images, and also the maximum size of images that a user can save out of EMu when selecting Save on the Multimedia tab of a module's Ribbon. This Registry entry has been superseded by the Maximum Registry entry.

Description

For institutions with scarce network resources, the Maximum Viewer Registry entry can be used to limit the size of images that users can view in EMu; it also specifies the maximum size of images that a user can save out of EMu when selecting Save on the Multimedia tab of a module's Ribbon.

Using this entry does not hide the existence of higher resolution images, but disables their selection.

Usage

This Registry entry can be assigned to users, groups and system-wide:

Key User Group System
Key 1 User Group System
Key 2 user group Setting

Value width:height

where:

width:height

are the maximum width and height in pixels of the images that may be viewed or saved.
